Your photo stays local.
Your choices stay yours.

Local comparison choices

The comparison tool keeps only the choices you explicitly save in this tab’s session storage, separate from quiz answers. Browser session restore may retain them. Clear them in the tool, export a JSON file, or import a validated file. They are not included in URLs, server profiles or analytics. Adding them to an existing paid report copies them into its local browser notes; exported files and report notes must be cleared separately. With storage disabled, export before leaving the page.

Optional analytics milestones

If you accept analytics, we count fixed guide-to-sample, sample-to-quiz, sample-view and paid-plan-view milestones. This tab also keeps a quiz-completion timestamp to recognize a paid-plan view within 15 minutes, without quiz answers. The timestamp is cleared after use on a plan view or analytics rejection; expired timestamps are discarded when read, not by a timer. Closing the tab ends session storage, although browser session restore may retain it. No comparison choices or worksheet contents are included in these events.

AI-generated images

We use AI-generated images for editorial illustrations and some visual quiz guides. These images help explain styles, choices and concepts. They are illustrative examples and do not document specific products, people or outcomes.

Quiz preferences

The quiz collects your choices about nail length, daily tasks, style, upkeep and color preferences. No name, email address, photo or account is required. Draft answers stay in your browser session. When you ask for a result, the selected answers are sent to our service and saved as a private profile.

The service runs on Cloudflare. Normal hosting and security processing may involve technical request information such as your IP address.

Local hand photos and sketches

The optional photo tool opens an image inside your browser and draws stylized outlines on a canvas. The image is never sent to our server, an AI service or the quiz API. It is not placed in session storage, local storage or your saved profile. Clear the tool or reload to remove it from the working page. Downloaded sketches are files you choose to save on your device.

Private access and retention

Unpaid profiles are kept for up to 30 days; paid salon-card access is kept for up to 365 days from payment. Save a printed or downloaded copy if you want to retain it longer. You can delete the saved profile from its result page. Deletion removes the answers and access to any purchased card, so download a copy first.

Access uses a private token stored in your browser session. A saved private link contains the token in its fragment. Anyone holding that complete link can open the profile and card. Keep it private. The page removes the token fragment after restoring access to the browser session.

Your salon notes

Editable notes stay in local storage in the browser where you write them. They are not sent to the server and do not transfer when you open a private link on another device. Print the report or save the salon-card image if you want a separate copy. Clearing browser data removes the notes.

Payments

The payment provider processes checkout and card details. We do not store payment-card details. Minimal financial order records are retained separately for payment administration and record keeping, without your hand photo or salon notes. Deleting a quiz profile does not erase the provider’s financial records.

How people find a useful result

On public pages, this browser tab remembers only a broad entry topic and source category: a recognized search service, What Colors Suit Me, another referral, or direct access. This uses session storage, not a tracking cookie. We do not save the page URL, URL parameters, full referrer, exact search terms, private links or access tokens in attribution.

When you complete the quiz, those two categories are saved with the profile, together with a country code supplied by Cloudflare when available. We do not copy an IP address into the profile or attribution. A checkout date and verified payment or refund status let us compare completed profiles and their outcomes in aggregate. One profile counts once even if it has multiple orders. These counts describe saved profiles, not distinct people.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals disable this attribution and browser activity counting. A signal clears the tab’s stored attribution; the next authenticated result, report or checkout request also clears attribution already attached to that profile. The free quiz, private result and purchases still work. Profile deletion or expiry removes its attribution. Necessary hosting, security and separate financial records continue to support the service. Optional Google Analytics 4 loads only if you accept it.

Activity and related-site referrals

This site uses Google Analytics 4 to analyze usage data. Google Analytics may receive your browser's IP address and technical metadata if you accept this optional analytics. We do not send uploaded photos, quiz answers, names, emails, private report URLs, full referrers or URL query parameters to Google. This consent does not grant permission for ad personalization or marketing. You can revoke this optional analytics choice in the site footer. We also maintain separate first-party logs for product functionality. It keeps daily totals of actions such as quiz starts, completed profiles, offer views and orders. The counters do not contain quiz answers, names, email addresses or visitor identifiers. They measure activity, not distinct people or cohort conversion.

A related-site link may carry a fixed source label such as “whatcolorssuitme” or “nailshapefinder.” These labels identify a project, not a person or private profile. We do not pass quiz answers, access tokens or photographs in related-site links.
